About

My name is Trent Polack and I’m a game developer. I’m currently employed as such at Stardock Entertainment and I have a degree in English from the University of Michigan. I am a self-taught programmer of nine years along with an unhealthy interest in game design and writing.

I write a great deal of things. And, in the past, have been known to write entire books such as Focus on 3D Terrain Programming. I also coauthored Graphics Programming Methods and Game Programming: Tricks of the Trade.

I can also be found at several other Internet locales where I clog up open sockets with my unnecessarily-verbose nature. I maintain a Development Journal at GameDev.net, where I am also a moderator and post industry news to the front page daily. A more limited and focused blagblegbligblogblugblyg can also be found at mittens.joeuser.com. There’s also this Twitter thing and my page at the site formerly known as Audioscrobbler.
