Exuberance Explored

After the lovely that was last week, this week is shaping up to be absolutely fantastic. Namely because today is Monday, which means today is 24-day, which means today is godly. Add that to the fact that I should be getting my GameCube in the mail (left it home thinking that I wouldn’t need it in the remaining five months that I’ll be living in the dorms), so if that’s indeed the case then I can finally enjoy the pure sexiness of Resident Evil 4 (an excellent action game plus a horror theme? It just doesn’t get more orgasmic than that). And, on top of all of that, I get to go see Reel Big Fish and Lucky Boys Confusion in concert on Saturday, February 5th.

I’m also slowly making my way back into graphics programming. And by slowly, I mean slowly. It’d be easier to start back up right away if it weren’t for fucking school, which is a perpetual pain in the ass (I’d endlessly rather just go and get a real job than continue going to school, but that’s just me). Though the biggest pain in the ass right now is my Latin 101 class, which has a nice amoun tof daily homework to do; if I took that away from my workload, I’d have a significantly reduced workload. Of course, getting back into programming would also be easier if, when I did finish homework and classes, I didn’t spend my time watching TV, working out, and playing games - but hey, what can I do?

If you answer that previous question, I will kill you.

Update: My GameCube did indeed arrive, and Resident Evil 4 is better than I had even been expecting. Aside from that, I just watched one of the greatest episodes of 24 that I have ever seen. Season 4 of 24 is, thus far, shaping up to be absolutely fantastic in every way.
