True, it can give a nice bump in regular souls, but it also can be used to forge special weapons or gain spells later. I found this out after I had already spent it, unfortunately. I ended up coming out of the Phalanx battle with over 7,000 souls and some really awesome equipment.<br><br>I hope you keep this up! It's fun to read about how someone else approached the game, and I'm sure it's informative for anyone who still doesn't know whether the game is for them.<br><br>PS.
